He founded Dovetail Public Relations, an award-winning Silicon Valley PR firm that specialized in technology startups. Mark is a graduate of the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley and a contributing columnist for the Huffington Post. In 2008, he launched Smashwords, which has grown to become the world’s biggest ebook and indie book distributor. His broad knowledge of publishing makes him a favorite at corporate, business, and writers conferences.
