Trudi York Gardner resides in Folsom CA. Her humor pieces and articles have appeared in The Chicago Tribune, The San Francisco Chronicle, The San Francisco Examiner, The Sacramento Bee, The Oregonian, Big Apple Parents Press, Washington Families, ParentGuide (NYC) and many other newspapers and magazines.
Her humorous short story, “The Lights in the Window,” (1999) was nominated for a Pushcart Prize, the American literary prize by Pushcart Press that honors the best poetry, short fiction and essays published in the small presses over the previous year. Sandra S. Navarro
Sandra S. Navarro holds a doctorate in Anthropology. Her narratives are informed looks at people and places in the United States over time. Inspired by a collection of documents from five generations of her family, Sandra writes about the impact of historical events and societal change on family members and collective family lore.
