Karen Sepahmansour is one of five children who grew up in poverty. She has always appreciated her education. She has a B.A. and an MPA from San Jose State University. She is credentialed for and taught in the following subjects: American Government and History, Current Events, ESL and GED for over 25 years. She has been a Senior Care Commissioner and a Social Services Advisory Commissioner in Santa Clara County, CA.
She enjoys writing children’s fiction stories, adult historical fiction and poetry. Her interests in culture and history have inspired her to travel. Married to Faramarz Sepahmansour, they have two sons, Amir and Anthony, and two daughters-in-law, Maryam and Mollie. Now they have four grandchildren, Alessandra, Elarya and Dean and Ella.
