The California Writers Club, Sacramento Branch’s Writers Network presents author and poet, Frances Kakugawa. Her presentation, appropriately enough, will be on the subject of How to Give Fabulous Presentations: How to be Invited Back Again and Again.
Frances is the author of 11 books, including children’s books in the Wordsworth series. Her Books, Mosaic Moon: Caregiving Through Poetry, and Breaking the Silence: A Caregiver’s Voice, were written with a sympathetic eye toward the needs of
those who provide care for Alzheimer’s patients. Kapoho: Memoir of a Modern Pompeii, chronicles Frances’ life as a child in Hawaii during World War II and the destruction of her village of Kapoho by a volcanic eruption.
The public is invited. CWC membership not required.
