The California Writers Club, Sacramento Branch’s Writers Network presents Gini Grossenbacher at the Friday, September 6, 2013 breakfast meeting. She will present “Freeing the Writer Within: An Amherst Writers & Artists Mini-Workshop”. Join Gini in this introductory mini-workshop to experience the Amherst Writers method which provides all writers a safe place to experiment, to create, and to reflect on writing. Whether you’ve written all your life, or want to get out of the usual rut, bring your favorite pen, paper, or laptop and join us.
Gini Grossenbacher is certified in the Amherst Writers & Artists method. With a B.A. in English from
Lewis & Clark College in Portland and a Master’s of Science in Education, Gini is an experienced teacher of
English in both Sacramento and Elk Grove. Since 1984, she has helped many writers of all ages gain new
skills in an encouraging way. At work on her own historical novels and poetry, she has published over thirty book reviews under the pen name Liz Allenby for the Historical Novels Review. She is currently 2nd Vice President, Membership, of the California Writers Club, Sacramento Branch.
Gini will be conducting a Fall Writing Six-Week Evening Series of the Amherst Writers & Artists

Writers Network is held the first Friday of every month at the International House of Pancakes (IHOP), 2216 Sunrise Blvd., Rancho Cordova (just north of Highway 50) starting at 9 AM. Meetings are free. Attendees pay for their own breakfast. Get map
