Pete Cruz is a non-fiction writer and speaker. He is currently working on his memoir, a story of redemption entitled, “Angry Eyes, My Path to Forgiveness.”
His published works include short stories in the 2015 and 2016 Inspire anthologies (www.InspireWriters.org). For the 2017 anthology, Inspire: Love, he functioned as assistant editor. His devotional piece, “Do Not Worry,” is under consideration for The Upper Room (www.upperroom.org), a global online ministry. In August 2018 he is the featured speaker at the Men’s Huddle, a monthly breakfast gathering at Creekside Church in Elk Grove. He hosts a weekly Shut Up and Write (www.meetup.com/shutupandwritesacto) writing session in Elk Grove.
As a club member his essay placed second in the 2017 CWC writing contest and he served as a panelist for the 2017 California Writers Week creative nonfiction panel.
